The Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) organised an Erasmus+ Contact Seminar with Southern Mediterranean countries which took place in Rome, Italy, on 18 and 19 October 2017.
DG EAC organised an Erasmus+ Contact Seminar with Southern Mediterranean countries which took place in Rome, Italy, on 18 and 19 October 2017. The aim of the contact seminar was to bring a wide range of representatives together from higher education institutions located in Europe and representatives from Southern Mediterranean countries.
The 2 day event, which was hosted in the premises of Sapienza University, offered them the opportunity to network and find new partners, in order to stimulate and increase the number of successful applications under the 2018 Erasmus+ Call for proposals.
The conference gathered a total of around 250 participants coming from the 33 Erasmus+ Programme Countries and 10 Southern Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia).
