Jachuka Rete

Jachuka Rete (Jorgelina Duarte) is a delegate of the Continental Council of the Guaraní Nation (CCNAGUA), representing the Mbya Guaraní people of the province of Misiones, Argentina. In 2019, she participated in the 42nd session of the Human Rights Council (9 – 27 September 2019) at the UN Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

She is the Coordinator of the Traditional Organisation of the Mbya Guaraní People of Aty Neychyrõ (Misiones, Argentina). Jachuka teaches Lit Guarani and Language at the Tajy Poty Bilingual Intercultural Institute.
