The Conference was an opportunity to showcase the results and to involve other civil society representatives in discussing future scenarios in the EuroMed cooperation, in the light of the new scenario emerging after the Covid-19 outbreak. During the event, participants from different continents had the opportunity to share their perspectives by joining three different discussion rooms: the first focusing on the impact of the pandemic on Euro-Med intercultural exchange and youth mobility, the second on the new scenario as an opportunity to raise awareness about environmental sustainability, and the third dealing with the comparison of online and offline learning experiences and instruments. The discussions were all particularly inspiring and interesting, as they offered the chance to analyse the issues from different geographical and cultural points of view. Finally, Gianni Orsini (forma CCIVS president and SCI activist) provided a contribution on his recent experience as coordinator of the “Anna Lindh Foundation Virtual Marathon for Dialogue”. Ingrid Danckaerts (CCIVS President) and Zhuoling You (CCIVS programme coordinator) wrapped-up the conference strengthening the role of volunteering in facing the future global challenges and the preview of CCIVS coming actions in advancing the peacebuilding partnership and talks.
